so does that title sound cool or what? specially when you know what "Avant-gardes" means -A person or group ahead of the times or period... so if it's Avant-gardes of the future, that means they're ahead of the future! wicked, eh?

Tyler walked into the room and saw Auni asleep on the bed. He smiled gently at her and stood over Auni, enjoying her sleep. Seeing a strand of hair fall in front of her pale sweet mouth, he gently stroked it back with his mechanical hand. He bent down next to her and whispered.

“A lot of things are going to happen to you, sweet Auni, you’ll hate them, and it will cast you great pain-”

“Stop drooling over her, Tyler.” Someone said behind him.

“Ishi, I’m far from drooling over her. She’s not even 18.” Though he couldn’t help but smile at the thought.

“Ah, but that is where you have deceived yourself. Go ahead, kiss those priceless lips, she won’t know. And even if she wakes, it would be even better chance. She will scream and you’ll cover her mouth with on hand, then use the other to hold her close to you. Ha! You’d be so high from the first gentle kiss, I wouldn’t be surprised if you stopped her from screaming by putting your lips over hers. Oh, and then-”

“Don’t you have anything better to do?” Tyler had grown in patient of Ishi’s dirty thoughts. True, Tyler could kill a man without think ,but kissing... bleh, an abomination.

“Yes, I could go plan a way to kill little Auni and get the Cointa at full power.”

Tyler lashed around and purposely slashed his sharp hand across Ishi’s face. Ishi stumbled back then lunged after Tyler who grabbed his arm and thrust him across the room. In seconds, Ishi was pinned by his throat on the floor.

“If you try to lay a hand of death on Auni,” the tips of his fingers pierced the first layer of skin. “It shall be your gravest folly.”

Ishi smiled, “So cute is your love for her. If you didn’t care for her at all, giver her over to me, and I’ll get more Cointa then you can ever dream.”

“Never.”

“You are afraid to kill.”

“Ha! I just killed my best general, I am not afraid to kill. I love it.”

He squeezed harder.

“Then you must love her.”

Tyler burner with anger and with one hand he threw Ishi across the room, completely braking the door.

Auni thrust her head up but only witnessed a quick view of a red cape and long black hair leaving the room.

Kioshi laid Madoline down on a rock inside the cave. They had been traveling and looking for a way to get out for hours, but it was past sunset and they needed a place to rest. Eligantia was wiped, and she sat herself next to little Madoline who still hadn’t gained full conscience. Several times she had woken, but not completely. Even though sleep was begging to arrest her, Eligantia stayed awake and watch over her, concern running wild in her eyes.

“Is because of Auni,” Kioshi said, seemingly the only thing he had said for the past four hours. He sat down across the cave in the shadows. “Auni and Madoline are connected by there minds. With Auni being in danger, Madoline can sense it. She might being even having a dream that shows her what Auni sees or feels.”

Eligantia was confused. How did Kioshi know what’s going on so well? And finally she got to think about what had happened today... so confusing and hard to understand. She couldn’t fight the sleep no longer; she closed her eyes and was gone.

How are we to get out? And why was Militis following us? He was never on O.T.’s side. Was he? And with my tricluvert gone, I’m was going to need to get out of here by getting in contact with Oaro.... To much to think about in one night. At the moment he needed to save Auni, which meant leaving Eligantia and Madoline behind for a while. He first thought that they be a lot of help, but now he realized that would be after he got her from O.T.B. That would mean... could he? No doubt he could. And should he was evident that he should. But how? Ah... that is how.

Kioshi got up and walked over to Eligantia and Madoline he pulled something off of his belt. A pouch. He sprinkled the dust that came from it over them and walked out of the cave. Surveying the terrain, he spotted a large bolder that would cover almost the whole mouth of the cave. He pulled out his sword and place it under the bolder. Then pushed down till it rolled in front of the cave’s mouth.

“Good night Eligantia and Madoline.... You’ll wake up in a few days when I return.” Kioshi whispered, then disappeared like a star when the sun rises.

Oara walked outside of her small cottage. She had been the only other person who had broken the portal to this world. She had come down years ago when they realized that Cointa wasn’t found where they were looking.
As Oara surveyed the grounds she heard someone coming up the road. Straining her ears he face split into a grin. Kioshi! She ran down the path and threw her arms around him.

“Kioshi! You made it!” she said beaming happily at him. “Was it hard?”

“No...” he said slightly smiling.

“What are you here for?” she asked slightly hastening to get to the cottage.

“My vehicle was destroyed-”

“How?”

“We were jumping over a canyon while running from O.T. men. Their guns shot the engine.”

Her foggy eyes glowed from the picture of the idea of a vehicle blowing up.

“So what else?”

“I need to rescue Auni in three days before her friends wake up.”

“You sure Auni’s the right on?”

“No doubt.”

“Kioshi, why are you suddenly so concerned about Cointarum? years ago when it was brought up, you use to block out everything. What made you want to save Auni?”

“I use to watch the videos of all the people they thought had Cointa. But Auni was always, I thought, would have it. I watched her videos everyday to understand her. And when i Found she was in danger, I knew there was no time to wait for the head to make the decision that Cointa was at its minimum.”

“You really care for her?”

“Yes.”

“Well, let’s go save her.”

“You’re not going, Oara.”

“And why not?” she asked turning at the sound of his voice.

“It’s dangerous.”

“Excuse me?” she placed her hands at the side of her hips, facing Kioshi grimly. She looked much older then fifteen. Having a gun latched on to her arm, and a machete across her back, she wore short shorts to help her move agilely. Across her lips rested a slanted belt lined with bullets and a laser gun. Kioshi shook his head.

“You’re blind,” He said, knowing that wouldn’t make a difference. An eerie grin spread across her face.

“I made new glasses.”
