Hey I’m back. My first 2008 blog, a week late. Sorry I didn’t wish you all a happy New Year, I planned to but just didn’t for some reason.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!
Now then, I’m back at Uni. Now, just got back today. I didn’t realise how easy I had it. Every day that I do have a lesson starts at 10am or thereabouts with others later. I’ve got myself some caffeine pills now, should I need them. There’s just one thing that concerns me about them. I go crazy when I’m hyperactive. I’m just wondering if they’ll bring on a bout of hyperactivity. That’s the last thing I need in a lecture.
To make matters worse I don’t have a reading list for this term’s English literature class but I’ve just discovered a post it note saying I have a tutorial then, so maybe we don’t have a lesson this week. Let’s hope so.
And, I’m not sure where tomorrow’s life writing class is. It isn’t on my timetable so I went to ask my tutor. He said it was the same time as before but a different place. He directed me to a timetable saying it was in one building (on one of the neighbouring campuses, not tat crappy place we had before) so I went to the timetable on the notice board and took down the details. Now, last Friday, before I came back, it was starting to worry my so I sent an email to the school of arts receptionist asking her to tell me or to either forward the query to someone who would know or let me know who to ask and I’d do it, as politely as possible. Well, that email got a response, an email sent to all of us telling us about the room changes, I only just received it. The problem is it’s listed another room in another building, on the same campus at least. Only good thing is I should have about an hour to find out as my Literature and Childhood finishes at 1 (having started at 10am) hopefully.
You know what else?
My cutlery’s been nicked. Either that or just used and not put back. I had 2knives, forks, spoons and teaspoons at the start. A teaspoon got stolen so I only had one. I go away for about 3 weeks and when I come back they’ve had 2 forks, 1 knife, 1 spoon and my last teaspoon. To top it all off they took my wooden spoon too. Honestly, what is this world coming to when a girl’s cutlery isn’t even safe in her own drawer? We picked up replacements in Tesco though, different ones that I hope will be easier to recognise.
What else? Well, I’ve put on weight, that’s no surprise.
Anything else? Ah yes, I’ve taken down my door decorations. I know what you’re thinking, what door decorations. Well, I promised I’d tell you later on, even though it’s not exactly spectacular.
A few days before I left I thought that our house wasn’t very festive. We had no decorations, unlike Halloween. Fair enough people were preparing to go home but still. So I started looking around for instructions on making an origami Christmas tree. Eventually I found one, designed for chirstmas cards really. I coloured it in, made it and taped various bits to it. I even made a little star for it too. Then I stuck it on my door. But I thought it looked a bit silly on it’s own so I cut out some snowflakes too and stuck them up. I must say it looked quite good.
My neighbour’s being rather loud. I hope he doesn’t keep it up too late. I want to be up by 9. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. I can try at least.
Well, that’s about all for now. I’m feeling tired now.
Bluebiird out.
