Some days you just gotta sit back, look at what you got and where you at, and smile.

Some days the whole country's got the day off (like today), but you gotta work and go to school like nothin's different, but still there's some good.

Some days you wake up early and feel ready for the world. Some days you get to spend a little extra morning time looking at the view and smiling at the fresh new day and bright sun before you.

Some days you get to work and meet someone new, and get to explain something to them that you know a lot about, and it makes you feel good that you could help someone.

Some days you leave work knowing you've accomplished something, and you spend your lunch break reading a good book and perhaps reciting your lines for a play you're gonna be in.

Some days you finish reading and reciting with just enough time before class to lay back on your dorm bed, enjoy the warmth of the sheets and pillows even though it's winter, and you realize that you got it good. You realize that you're not hungry, that you've got a roof over your head, that you are getting an education, have a gratifying job, and perhaps you even look in the mirror and realize that you look damn good today.

It's one of those days for me, and I'm gonna take all from it that I can get, because I don't know when another one is gonna come around. I suggest you do the same, too, when yours comes around.
