I hope that everyone has had a good Christmas. The kids and I had a great one, considering that I've spent it sick. They loved the toys they were given, and it was just a nice quiet day. My sister and niece were over for dinner, and I did Christmas with my in laws yesterday, so we just sort of relaxed. Victoria is getting over an awful cold, and she's teething so things have been pretty hectic. I've now caught the same cold, and I'm due to work a 12 hour day tomorrow:sick:

I feel bad that I've not been around much, but there's been little time with getting everything moving on a house, work, and the kids. Everyone being sick has not made things more simple. The colors are chosen for the house, and I'll be working on loan paperwork this week. It is suspected that ground will be broken in another month or so, and then I can expect to move in during May sometime.

Work is going well, but I'm looking foward to an end to my obligation. 50 hours a week is too many when I've two kids. I'm hoping to be into a new job by the beginning of April. I hope it will be one with less hours or at the least a set schedule. I hate that I can't tell my children from week to week when I'll be home. It is playing havoc with both of the, and I'm hoping they'll adjust soon

Regardless, I'm off to bed for the evening. In the weeks I've been here Victoria has only slept through the entire night about four or five times. I'm sick and exhausted, but I did want to post a bit of an update. I'm hoping all is well for everyone else. Merry Christmas:)
