I took a hatchett to my head
swapped brain for compass there instead
My head did swell, so I laid down
Closed my eyes, heard not a sound
When I awoke, my skull had healed
A miracle of bone annealed
Then she walked in, with eyes so blue
My compass point was sharp and true

I stuck a needle in my eye
I pray dear lord I do not die
platinum siliconic thread
Is my computer in my head
Now I see what isn't there
I wink and blink while I stare
You can see it passing by
Look for the twinkle in my eye.

    dude, what are you?
    I kid you not, this stuff is phenomenal. I don't care if I make no sense, so I'll say this: replacing the brain with a compass is way better than putting it through a washing machine. Just, awesome.

    Wow. That is amazing. Just the sort of stuff I like. Great job! I keep trying to read your sci-fi story, but I never get around to it, it seems! I will, though! Please write more like this! I love surrealism.

    Thanks for the comments, I wrote this one on my birthday while I was getting tossed around the crew boat. It just goes to show you that you never know where or when the inspiration will hit you.

    Thanks for the comments andave_ya, Kiz, and (wait whats this?) Logos....I don't really think of it as sinister...but what is sinister? Left handed people are referred to as sinistral. I'm left handed...ohh my stars and garters, its all starting to come together!
