My Blog...How original.

well, i kinda got bad news.... i just found this out that my poem "Magical Kingdom" got rejected from a publishing company, Poetry.com. this is what the said. they really didn't say why, just that they are sorry and blah, blah, blah. i'm disappointed. that's like one of my favorite poems that i've written. oh well, welcome to the publishing buisness.

so i might as wel start from the first chapter in that story i typed earlier, that you kinda understand it better. i'll work on it whenever i can.

Auni had her arm linked with her best friend, Eligantia. Their capped heads where touching as they whispered all the days secrets that they gathered. Auni wrapped her coat around her body tighter and wished that she didn't have to walk home from school in the snow. Her smiling face turned to look back to see Baker's Private School fade into the landscape. But when she returned to the bent condition she no longer had a smile on.

"Do you see them again?" Eligantia asked.

"Yes, but that's not what's bothering me." Auni replied.

"Then what is it?"

"Why me?"

"Why you what?"

"Why must i be the only one to see them? After that fight i got in, they have been following me from school. Oh, I'd give so much just to have you see them. Sometimes I think my mind is playing tricks on me and I'm just crazy...."

"What do they look like," Eligantia asked, ignorant of how deeply Auni was troubled. " YOu have never told me before. I'd like to know; it might help me understand."

Auni turned around and began to walk backwards.

"They must be about six feet tall. They wair black coats that go to their knees and hats that cover their faces. And the pants are black slacks."

"That's all you can see?"

"They've always been a little blurry. And hopefully they will disapear one day."

"I don't know why you want them to disapear. They might be angels watching over you so that you don't go in another fight."

"I highly doubt, Eligantia. I have never heard of angels stalking a person and wairing all black."

"Just because you've never heard of it doesn't make it not true."

Auni shrugged and pivoted back toward Eligantia, running to catch up and warm her freezing body. Then suddenly a sharp feeling went up her right arm and she colasped over, gripping her arm. It wasn't really pain, but there was something there. She made a fist, and squinted her eyes shut. Eligantia ran to her side.

"Auni! What's wrong?!"

"I don't know, my arm, there's something there. It's starting from my hand."

"Open it up, see if there's a knot."

Slowly Auni opened her hand and her eyes were wide open. Her hand had a symble on it that glowed with blue light.

"Eligantia! Do you see that?" Auni asked, worry in her every word.

"What? I don't see anything."

"How can you not see it?! My hand is glowing!"

"There is nothing there, Auni."

The feeling went away and so to the glowing but not the symble. It was brown and looked like a henna tattoo. Trembling, Auni stood up; scared and uncertian what had happened.

"Are you ok?" Eligantia asked when she saw that Auni's huge, scared eyes did not calm down. "I'm sorry I couldn't help."

Auni said nothing and walked in silence until they got to her house.

"See you later, okay?"

"No, Eligantia! I need you to come with me! YOu must help me find out what is going on!"

so maybe it didn't explain more... but now you know the begining and know that this happened suddenly. but i didn't want to take forever to write it and i don't know how much you like to read.
