Early Christmas

My dad is working today, so we had family over yesterday.
By family, I mean my aunt, uncle, and, of course, the Japanese girl.
UGH!
It like this every single year! We invite my aunt and uncle, and usually a few adults from church. It's soooo boring! Every year I get to listen while they go on and on about work, gardening, and food.
No offense intended, but my aunt and uncle are, at least, somewhere between the age of 60 - 80. Every time we see them, they tell the same stories over and over again! How auntie had a small car accident, how her friend "Bob" had a cat and how he had to put her to sleep, or how they caught a lady stealing oranges from their tree.
Okay, Christmas wasn't completely horrible, I admit.
I did get some fun stuff. Like tangerine and pomogranite(sp?) gum, monkey speakers for my ipod, and candy.Lotsa candy!
The food was awesome too! Er, at least some of it was. There was a huge, disgusting ham right smack in the middle of the table.(Did I mention it was disgusting?) It was all pink and meaty too!

After we finished our meal, the adults were in the family room, and I offered to play a board game with the Japanese girl. I taught her how to play uno, and she beat me! Three times in a row! And every time she won, she'd start laughing . . . very freakishly.![]()
We had our christmas party last week. It was fun. Too many left over cookies, though. We stuffed as many as we could into two boxes for the troops, but still.
And I refuse to confess the stupid thing I did during the party.
*sigh* I need something to do! Not quite ready to go back to school, but I need something fun to do.I think I'll go bother someone.
Merry Christmas!![]()
