I'M GOING TO ITALY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got the call from AFS, the exchange program I applied to several months ago. After a few setbacks, i have FINALLY GOTTEN ACCEPTED!!!!!!

Thank you to everyone who helped me decide on this country! I'll be leaving sometime at the end of this summer, and I know I'm going to have a great time. Now - to go party!

Fantastic!!!! Great choice. Which city in Italy will you be staying? Oh how I envy you. I wish I could have done that when I was your age.

I don't know the city yet; the word yesterday was just that the program in Italy accepted me. They will, hopefully soon, find a host family willing to put up with me , and I'll post again on the blog when they do. Thanks, Shan and Virgil! And actually, Virgil, the program has been around for a while - I didn't know this until I had already started to apply, but my mom did it when she was a kid!

Actually my brother did it too. He was exchanged with a university in Trento, I think.
