We put the urn aboard ship
with this inscription:

This is the dust of little
Timas who unmarried was
led
into Persephone's dark
bedroom

And she being far from
home, girls
her age took new-edged blades
to cut, in morning for her
these curls of thier soft heads.

I also enjoy these delightful little poems that you post in your blog. I don't always comment, but know that your work is deeply admired, Dark Muse. Kizzo

Thank you for your comments, I am glad you enjoy these pieces, though I cannot take personal crdidit for them, and I did not mean to confuse or make it seem as if I were trying to cliam them for my own. They are the work of Sappho, the poet of anceint Greece, she is by far one of my faveorite poets, and I thought I would share her work, I had tried to keep it sperated clearly form my own personal work.

Oh, I didn't know that Dark Muse. You should lable them as by Sappho.

Well I had put them in the catagory Sappho, so I did not have to say by Sappho on everyone. So that the top, it says In Sappho

Sorry for the confusion, it is a habbit of mine, to post works from others I like in my blogs, I have another blog where I am posting a collection of Poe's work becasue it fits into the theme of that blog and I love his work. Sorry I had not made it more clear.
