Just a short one today, because I'm worn out. I was up early to spend a couple of hours with my kids before my first day back to work. Today was an easy day. I only worked 9-5. Tomorrow will be more difficult since I'll be working from 12-close. This means I'll leave right around or just before nap time for the kids, and I'll not see them until the following morning.

All things considered today was a really good day. I haven't forgotten much of anything for my job, so I was able to walk in and be a productive employee on my first day. I'm basically getting a one week refresher on the managment and such. Next week I'm on my own as an assisstant manager.

I'm also working to get financing for building a home. I hope we can get the loan and build the house that we would like. I know most of what I would like so all I really need to do is see where we are with the financing.

I hope all is well for everyone else. It looks like things will settle sooner here if I can build. That is one more thing checked off my list. Then all I will have to worry over is finding a more permanent position. I still hope to find a marketing position towards the spring time when the job market opens up more.
