My intelligence is only equalled by my stupidity

A nice little juxtaposition there for you. Me again. Not much to say really. I’m working on my creative writing work, I’m trying not to use any form of the term “to be” i.e. was, were etc. or use adverbs. ‘taint easy you know. And just because it makes sense to me I bet it wouldn’t make sense to someone else. I’ve guessed that I could stay up until about 5ish, gives me just under 3 hours now should be loads of time to write about 1500 words in 3 separate stories plus another 90 words in a series of sentences and then 10 more sentences and then a essay about the whole thing. Yeah, sure, should be easy. Ha. Ha. Ha. It’s actually due in on Monday but I can’t trust myself to be back in time on Monday to hand it in, and I never work on the weekends anyway. Why am I such an idiot? Oh well, back to work I guess.

Bluebiird out.

yeah, in my writing classes it was always try to avoid use of passive voice, because it's indirect and takes the action away from the subject and makes the sentence less direct or less clear.

Writing habits are hard to break. And then when I got out of college and went to work, I read emails that broke all the email/writing etiquette rules and read sentences in passive voice - mainly about something that was done incorrectly and rather than assigning blame and saying "Brenda did not accrue the expense" it said, "The expense was not accrued."

Then again, I guess the classes I was taking didn't have office politics in mind.

I guess you're still in school? I hope you never have a job where you have to worry about things like that.
