A Little Bit of Everything

I know this is late but Christmas cheer should never be too late to spread-

Merry Day After Christmas everyone!

I hope everyone had a marvelous Christmas.
For Christmas I spent lots of time with my family and friends exchanging gifts, playing music, and eating food. I got a cell phone for Christmas! I am very happy.
My favorite part about Christmas is giving gifts though. This year my family had a no buying rule- handmade or written only (Unless it was for the youngsters aka my brother and I) and I wrote a poem and made a frame for it for one of my Aunts and she misted up- that's my favorite memory especially because she just got out of the hospital recently so it was really a miracle she could even come. She's a musician and the poem I wrote was something like this this is from memory)
Music is the heartbeat that flows through this home
it is the life bringing blood that replenishes our souls
It is our life and our way
our night and our day
it brings us together and makes us unique

I put it in a wooden frame that I had painted black with white music notes.

Anyways, I had lots of fun on Christmas and my best friend in the whole world gave me a leather bound journal with gold imprints on the front and it is gorgeous! And another friend gave me a calligraphy set so I'm all ready to write.
