Santa Scares and a Hello

Somehow, I don't blame this child for being a bit timid...

I had to chuckle at some pictures that a friend sent me -- hope you find these amusing too -- makes me wonder how anyone would want to sign up for the position of Santa, but anyhow:

So I hope that you are all doing great. Lately I have spent mucho time preparing for the Holiday Season, purchasing, addressing and sending seasons-greeting cards to all my near and dears ..... then there have been a couple of events through my husband's work that have taken a chunk out of the week -- sheesh, good thing that this type of whirlwind activity is only once a year! Although, perhaps it is a way to stay warm -- keeping busy? Hmmmmm (last night the windchill rendered us with a low in the minus forties Celcius). Poor Pepper, is all I can say (but she only dekes out for bathroom breaks and then is back at the door in seconds flat).

    These were cute. Sort of. Santa can be a bit intimidating if you haven't been engulfed in the legend. Poor Pepper, Onyx is the same way about the cold and Zap never wants to go out anymore. She's 15 years old now and we wonder sometimes how much longer.

    how funny. There is a picture of me and a cousin on Santa's lap when we were kids and she is screaming. I am looking off somewhere else in the picture. Some kids are just too young for Santa. Some kids are just too young to be taken out in public at all but I guess when you're a parent you don't have a choice sometimes.

    He he he! My 4 year old is terrified at the thought of a big fat man dressed in red sneaking into our house at night whether he's leaving presents or not. She doesn't want to meet him...ever.

    In the first photo Santa looks so evil, those poor kiddies!!! Wait, did you say 40 below??!! Ouch!!! Pepper knows where its warm, yes!!

    I feel like that all the time, and I don't even have to sit in the lap of a fat man in a red suit! LOL! Thanks for the funny pictures.
