I'm a Diced Tomato

My life=cool.

Break starts on Friday. (SO DOES SWEENEY TODD...wow, this post is becoming macabre-I've been called macabre several times) So that will be nice. But I will miss my biology teacher. No, seriously. He's the only real reason why I want to go to school every day. Don't get me wrong, but I love learning, but it can get very tedious and tiresome. Especially if there are no fellow freaks there to help you out. But I've been thinking about him a lot lately. He's really truly amazing. Considering all the sh*t he's been through. I hope he has the best retirement ever. I'm really going to thank him at the end of the year. He's seriously inspired me so much. Before, I never really thought about teaching. I always thought I'd hate it. But from watching him...I'm reconsidering. One of the nicest, best- humored, coolest people I've ever met. A hero.

And now onto Creature Feature.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and gouls!

Erik X of Creature Feature

Makes me think of "Something Wicked This Way Comes".

My friend lent me her autographed Creature Feature CD and now I have the music on my computer. I like them, but I really can't take them too seriously. They're a novelty band, which bugs me a bit, but my creepy Halloweenie side like it. I feel kind of...dirty when I listen to them. They're defintely no DEVO. Just songs about flying saucers and zombie attacks.

Guess what? It's nighttime and it's raining. I am alive.

I've been practicing the piano a lot lately since we got it fixed. I can finally play on a real piano, and it sound good! I'm working on various Elfman pieces and "Askokan Farewell".

Lessee...I've gotten great gifts so far, even though I really shouldn't be celebrating Christmas, ha ha. I accidentally opened the book my mom ordered for me today. (What? It was in a brown package!) It's a book on John Adams by Abigail Adams. I knew she had already ordered it, though, because she asked me if I had read it yet. I never even knew about it! It will be such a great read.

And my dad ordered a Man or Astroman? CD for me The one I had to return because it wasn't really a MOAM? CD. So I'm happy there, too.

Man or Astroman?

And the wonderful illustrated version of "1776" from AdoreroDio.

Plus I've gotten money from relatives and will probably be getting more soon.

Not like I need anymore things. I am such a lucky girl. My life is so amazing. This one girl in Spanish class today said, "You're always so happy. You're not one of those quiet nerds. You're a fun nerd. I wish I could be in your shoes."

I said, "Nope, I don't wanna trade."

Ooh, I've gotten some great gifts, too! My mom gave me the "Encyclopedia of Immaturity." She's trying to tell me something, I just know it!

Yes, I totally agree that your life is cool! Also, that teacher does sound like a special blessing. In my years of school, I had two teachers that were totally outstanding. The rest were either so-so, duds, or maniacs. Honest. So I am glad to hear of your happiness to learn with that teacher. Happy Holidays, Lily!

Wilson and Lily sitting in a treeeee...

"Man or Astroman?" is so DEVO in just the title...on one hand, it's kind of unconventional for a title to be in question format, and on the other, it questions the identity and status of "man"(like DEVO questions our evolutionary prowess).
