I must laugh

i truely must laugh at green's foolishness. oh, she is a sweet girl, but she is full of the world. like a ton of bricks it hit me why so many people of my generation say, "Love stinks." it is because they have never been in love or they do not understand the whole meaning. having a crush on a boy, then being dumped by him at age 12 and getting a boyfriend three months later proves that you were never in love with the first boy. if that wasn't the case, i would not want to fall in love seeing how easly one can fall out of it.

when greeny said that to me the other day, i told her strait forward (and with courage that i didn't intend on having) that she had no idea what love was. that crushing on a boy for three weeks then getting dumped after a month, was not love. Ha, far from love. i told her that was just crushing... such a big difference then it wasn't even a "oh, i like him." then i had to make my two biggest follies in the conversation.

1. i said, "Trust me, i know." how, you ask, is that wrong. you see, i've been interested in this boy for 5 years. (aye, 'tis along time) and she started to say it was because of him that i knew. well, it's not. yes, i do want to get to know him more, and see if there is something. (how cheesy does that sound? ) but i could not with my heart say that i am in love with him. nay, for if i can think of liking someone else. then i know that it is not true yet. and i must wait to see him again. (he lives in another state, and i haven't see him in two year.)

my 2nd folly was... i braught up the conversasion of courting instead of dating, my background and natruel perferal of that sprouted, and turned off the ears of my young audience. as soon as i brought that up, *boom* she said to forget it and went on trying. ah, could someone hit me for that, i have hit myself, but it just might feel good for someone else to do so....

and there is something else i noticed, when things get rough in a situation, some break up because of that. or when the butterflies are gone, then so is the so called "love" that they felt. argh! so foolish is that! tell me if i'm wrong, for i rather not ramble, then years later find out i have been mistaken.
but that is what i think is wrong with alot of things... that is why i wrote my story, to just because something happens, after the butterflies are gone, it's still there. that is why there is pain. funny, you'd think that love heals pain. it does, don't get me wrong, but it also cause's most of the depest pain. actually, it does. there is so much pain when a loved dies, and if you do not love person, there would be no pain. isn't that annoying! if you love someone have a higher chance of getting hurt. and if you do not love then you are misreble, becuase there is nothing to take joy out of.
so now the question is, if this is the case, is love worth it? a highly debated question. i personally think it is. with out love, the world would fall apart in a day... proof is being proven right no, less and less love is shown for your neighbor, it is only of one's self that they love. (i'm grouping remember that, and it surely doesn't mean everyone) i'll stop rambling now... hmmm... should i put more stuff....? nay, i think i made a point. and correct me in my folly please... -argetlam

Billy Gilman -So what's the glory in living?
Doesn't anybody ever stay together anymore?
And if love never last forever;
Tell me,
What's forever for?
here's the song that i got it from...

    The people I've been in love with I've never really fallen out of love with. I don't know if it I would say it's not love if someone falls out of love quickly; probably so, though. I usually fall in love pretty fast though; I don't think there's any necessary time limit on it. There are many different ideas about being in love, by lots of different people. Some people wouldn't consider that two people are in love until they've had a relationship for a long time, but I think it can be one-sided, too, and I wouldn't consider this a requisite for it. Other people believe in love at first sight; other people say that this can't happen and those who think it does are only projecting their own ideas, and not seeing the person for who they are. I think it's great, however, when two people can connect so well that they fall in love with each other quickly. For me this happens; but I don't chase fleeting fancies because I know people are fickle! I could fall in love quickly, but I think that for a meaningful relationship to be created it takes quite a long time. So for that reason I don't chase after people and I don't worry; I wait until someone can be open and friends to me and--- fall in love with me, and hopefully I'd be in love with them too. That'd be good, until then I don't worry about it and I make sure I don't think I'm worthless because I don't have a lover/soul mate. -Nik
