The drama queen insisted I put that attention grabbing title. Are we not litnetters?? to paraphase H. G. Wells Island of Dr. Moreau (or at least the Charles Laughlin (sp) movie version from 1932(?) titled Island of Lost Souls with an ending you will never forget.
Would have been better to call it Prodigal Son Finally Shows Up but I always found his brother to be more interesting in his subtle honoring of his father -- I'm sure he thought he was in the will. Many shades to him and he could do with a incisive character analysis. J.R. Ewing lite for simplicity sake.
Logos continues to read to find references to her for the upcoming cease and desist order. Her lawyer is considering how many man-hours he can bill her for.
Andave Ya and Grace86 perk up at the Bibilical reference wondering what tidbit of wisdom the backsliden Pharisee has disguised in all this.
Meg's grinning because I told her first.
B-Mental wishes he'ld favor the guys once in awhile. Sure if they send cookies.
Kiz Paws thinks if only I hadn't taken that trip he would have told ME first.
So it's late and the Countess is sharpening her axe and about to start swinging.
Jim checked in, blamed his dog for chewing up his computer cables. Should have a phone within a month.
Oh yes Happy Anniversary Mom--hey no Mean Ol' Bald Guy jokes!!??? for dear old whiny dad??. Sigh.

Mari Grace July 20th. Hands off the young mother six weeks minimum. Eight if you're married to my wife. Hands off even more if the pump is not your method of feeding chicklets--had Mari been a boy this sentence would read duckling. Busy devil. Here I thought the Army was keeping him occupied.
Grand-father--again. Fourth time. Any chance we can call him Ben for a boy or Sue for a girl. Fantastic.![]()
On the other hand poor poor daughter-in-law. Two little ones. I had gottten the news from Ruth about all this when I called to tell her I had called Sandy and pointed out that while grizzlies growl we can be tickled at the appearance of our daughter's visiting in spite of a grouchy mood and it would not be a bad thing to test that theory out.
Also I wanted a picture of little Ron licking his daddy's beard for the living room.
Sandy sometimes thinks I've lost it. I just wanted a unique father/son moment that's just bit out there. Why should Baki have all the fun?
Let's see have I missed any litnetters that I think actually reads these journeys into soapdish land. Nope all accounted for. I suspect Virgil and Pike are on board from time to time and I actually worry when I DO hear from Logos.
Logos snorts--now he has lost it if he thinks that old reverse psychology trick would work. No PMs for him until 2008. She returns the Avengers #1 she found on e-bay back into the recycle bin that she meant to send him for Christmas.
Sigh. Been a very long day and I'm off to bed to do battle with the weekend AAA members again. Had a ten hour day Saturday and I am loopy.
