Lions for Lambs

I have a sweet little friend in her late 70's who asked me to take her to see Lions for Lambs and we are going this afternoon. I say sweet little friend because she is tiny and frail, like a little lamb, but underneath she has always been a lion for education, having taught elementary school all of her working life. She's really not the type to go to movies, whatever type means(??), so I was surprised when she asked to see this one. But then I smiled inside knowing of her diligent work for the poor and the rights of women and children. I'll bet she was something in her college days. But then I REALLY smiled inside when I realized that Robert Redford is 71. Hmmmmmm?? Do ya think?

    HOLY CRAP! RR is 71? My aunt danced with him one time in Jackson Hole, Wy. USA. Well that says a great deal...my aunt was chasing an elder...lol j/k

    B-Mental...Yes, Robert Redford is 71. Your lucky aunt.

    The movie was so good, so many layers, my feeble brain cannot wrap itself around all that it had to say. I certainly recommend it.
    My friend thinks it should be required viewing for all high school and college students.

    Is there a movie out now with Robert Redford??? There are men and there are boys. Redford is the man. The last I saw him was in that film he lives in Montana with his pal and J.Lo, who leaves her abusive husband, shows up with her son to stay with Redford. Then there's Redford the man in The Horse Whisperer, Indecent Proposal, The Great Gatsby, etc. etc.

    Yes, Robert Redford plays the part of a professor in his latest movie, Lions for Lambs. I enjoyed it very much. The movie with J-Lo is An Unfinished Life. I loved that movie.
