If you were a flower
I would shine upon you
as the sun

I would cover you
in clover.

Let me be the grass that
grows beneath your feet
when you feel the gentle breeze
you will know it is me

and if you were a tree
I will be every leaf
if you were a fish
I would be the waters
of a lake.

When the sun is shining
too bright I will be your
cooling shade

and on those rainy days
you will know every drop
you feel is me.
