Goodmorning:) So here are a couple pictures of some of the sewing I've been working so hard on. The first is of the placemats that I made for my Aunt. I just finished them last evening, and I'll be mailing them out today. I managed to finish them just in time to get them to her for Thanksgiving. The second picture is just a close up of the embroidered roosters on them.

This next picture is one of the quilt blocks that I'm making for my daughter's quilt. There will be 20 in all, and they are all banded by a really deep purple. It's hard to tell, but that is the fabric it is sitting on.

Finally, this isn't my handiwork. It is actually my husband's, but I wanted to put it up anyway. It is a little hard to tell the color, but it is deepblue with tiny golden lines running through it. If you know what lapis (the stone) looks like, then you know the color that the pen is. My husband hand turned it in his woodshop for me to use in writing and whatever else I want.
