hi blog. I just got back from the first proper holiday I have had in the last ten years. I quite enjoyed it. I spent too much of it tired though. I dunno why that is; why I've got to tire myself out like that. I'm not very good at getting up early I guess. I saw lots of lovely things. Pon returning home though, I notived how ugly everyone is here. Not in a genetically ugly way, just in a 'I haven't bothered to think about my appearance' way. People in mainland Europe seem to care a lot more about style. UK kids just tend to follow trends rather than actually trying to look good I think. Looking classy is definitely the way to go as far as I'm concerned. I think I need to go shopping. I'm also rather confused about time again; with the whole, I remember quite recently that I was there, now I'm here, how did that happen? kind of way. Time's a funny thing. passes by quite quickly really. Now not existing and all that. I think I'm too tired to be blogging Anyway, it was a good holiday and I'm glad I went. I wish I'd spent the last ten years doing things like that rather than sitting around getting bored and lonely.

Kids look so unclassy here in the US too, maybe even more so than in England. I think it's terrible. But I'm an old fogey.

I think so too. I don't think its an old fogey thing. People just look so much better when they think about what suits them rather than what they think is trendy, no matter what age they are. I do remember the heady days of teenagehood and dressing up in all sorts of rubbish clothes but I wish I'd had the confidence to have a bit more class rather than just define myself by trying not to copy others. It seems daft that when you're a kid, you either try desperately to fit in with clothes or desperately not to fit in by wearing clothers that are completely different to most other people. Either way, you still define yourself through your reaction to other people. I just want people to look a bit more like Audrey Hepburn and a bit less like Britney or Jodie Marsh. The world would be a more civilised and beautiful place.
