Do you believe in love at first sight? Well, I just met this girl- a wonderful girl- whom I'd seen more than once before, but never talked to; tonight we talked when I gave her a pen; she sat next to me and wrote some stuff down, then asked me to write something- anything- that came to mind. Well, she smiled at me a lot and was so warm, and we were very close and touching; she laid her hand on my leg and smiled, I felt very close to her. My friend said, after he'd given her a ride home, that she was crazy; and it was true some of the things she was saying were a little off, but I never really thought anything of it when she was talking. I think reality is simply different for some people. I didn't think she was off or anything, no matter what she said- it just didn't matter, when I saw how beautiful and how nice she was. I truly wasn't thinking a thought the entire time I was with her. So I don't know if that's truly love at first sight; I definitely have a huge crush on her. I felt so moved by her warm smile and when she laid her hand on my leg, it made me so happy. I don't have any kind of idealization of her, but I felt I connected in such a good way....anyway, so needless to say I'm in a good mood. I don't have her number, but there's no doubt I'll see her somewhere. Hopefully she'd want to spend some time with me to get to know me better or something. We'll see.

    Well, I'm a die-hard romantic idealist so yes, I do believe in love at first sight. I also believe in lust at first sight, and crush at first sight, and that its easy to confuse them with one another. (-: Only time will tell.

    Had to think about this. Sounds like gentle flirting for now but if the topic of of do you have any money comes up--RUN immediately and don't look back. Hopefully this scenario won't occur but the warning had to be made. Otherwise enjoy the mystery and wonder and the anguish and store up pleasant memories.

    You're absolutely right, Countess, that time will tell... Thank you also, Rich; I'm pretty sure she's not that kind of person, though. And not much anguish- I was hardly thinking a single thought with her. laff :)
