Can anyone explain to me why this is not a private entry? I clicked private, it says Status: Private, but it's in the Blog directory, and I'm guessing like my last attempt, everyone will be able to see this, and it'll get views, etc...

Do you have a buddy list? If you do as far as i'm aware they will all still be able to read your private entries while the rest of the community cant. Oh and as far as i'm aware mods too. But i'm not shure about that.
*Edit* Yep if you create an entry and tick private it allows your buddy list to read and you have also left allow comments ticked so they can still leave comments.

My problem is I can't create a private entry; this one was a test, it should have been private. It says Status: Private now. I don't know why it won't work.

Okay i did a test and logged myself out. then i went into blog and this one was hidden. So it is private. Like i said if you have a buddy list they will be able to see it and us mods too by the looks of things. If you dont want people to be able to post unselect the option when creating an entry but note that the privacy box does say that it will still be visable to your buddy list. If you want to have it completely private you'll have to erase your buddy list. Hope this helps.

Okay, yeah it does that for me, too; no problem then. And posting comments was never a problem either. I guess it really is private; with 17 views, I just didn't see how it could be. Thx Niamh.
