Update on Chantix

Rate this Entry
Ok, so this is my fourth day on Chantix. No change of any kind except I'm a bit antsy. This week I'm taking the loading dose. My brother who has taken it before told me that on the 7th or 8th day, you just don't want to smoke, like you forget about them. Well, I can't wait. I'm giving myself 2 weeks just in case. I don't want to be let down if I still want to smoke on Tuesday. I am ready to stop smoking. I don't smoke around my grandkids or where they can see me, but I know they know I smoke and that's awful. They'll be proud, my kids will be proud, my brothers will be proud, Poppy will be proud, and I'll feel so darn good about myself! Besides, I spend about $7 a day on cigarettes. That's over $2500 a year just killing myself. That's a new fence or a new sofa. I could probably get my son-in-law to enclose my patio for that! What a waste. It's hard to imagine not thinking about smoking cause that's seems to be all I think about right now. We'll see what happens in 3 or 4 more days.

You can do it Granny. Keep it up. Just think of the presents you can buy your grandchildren with the money you will save.

I'm wishing you tons of luck Granny. I hope that everything will work out for you this time. At $7 a day, you will be able to do tons with the money that you are going to save. Hang in there and keep being positive:)

The grand kids don't need any more presents, but Mason really wants to see the four corners. It's all I hear about.

Keep it up Granny5, I quit on 10/26, and its going good for now. I'm just worried that I'll be tempted when I get back on land. YOU CAN DO EET!
