In the sweat lodge tonight one thing we prayed for- well, we prayed for basically everyone, but one people we prayed for were people in prison. So terrible, that. A song by System of A Down goes:

"No flag is large enough to hide the shame of a man in cuffs."

I don't know if that means as it might people in prison in general, or something else perhaps. The song (ADD: American Dream Denial) is very powerful, and it's sad the people who should be in prison aren't. (And I don't think punitive justice is a good idea.)
