Ok. So here is the way my day is planned. I will keep motherhubbard’s boys while she goes to Little Rock. I’m planning on making potato soup and chicken soup and a big pan of cornbread. Yummy. I hope that Poppy’s mother will eat soup today. If not, then I’ll make two different lunches. (sometimes she won’t eat what I cook unless we lie and tell her someone else cooked it. It just one of many games we play around here.)We will play with toys and run around and maybe get tired and take a nap after lunch. I doubt that one. I have a million loads of laundry to do, a sink full of dishes even though it would have taken whoever put them in the sink a couple of minutes to put them into the dishwasher, and the bathrooms look like a herd of buffalo have been hanging out in them. I don’t know who keeps letting them into the house. I have two dogs that both need baths. One will be a fight with the dog, one will be a fight with the owner.
At 3:35 my grandson, Skyler, will be home from school and he will want an after school snack and some attention. He’s my bestest friend. I try to scare him when he gets home but sometimes he scares me. On the days that I’ve worked the night before, he does a pretty good job. He woke me up one afternoon in a full werewolf costume. I hadn’t seen it and he when he woke me up, he was just sitting on the side of my bed…it scared the poo out of me. And yesterday, he put the monitor that we have so we can hear Poppy’s mother right beside my ear and turned it up all the way. He then went into Poppy’s mother’s room and yelled into the monitor. I woke up pretty darn fast!!! So today I have to come up with something to pay him back. I usually just hide and jump out and scare him but I think I need to come up with something special. Anyway, there’ll be no reading for me today unless it’s preschool level.

Hahaha, interesting day. What I really find interesting is your relationship with your mother in law. Does she think you will poison her? Why won't she eat your food?

Awh, Skyler sounds like a character! How old is he? He reminds me alot of my son, Jordan. You and MH are fond of soup it seems, LOL! Can I come over for a good homemade meal? I only get microwavable stuff due to my schedule.

Countess, it's so good to see you back on here. I've missed you. Skyler is 8, he and his mother live with us. We do love soups especially in cool weather. It just always feels right to have soup and chili when Fall arrives. Sure, come on over and have supper with us...if you like soup!

Sounds so good:) I love soup, such during the winter. I've plenty of leftover chili and chicken and dumplings at my house for lunch and dinner today. You grandson sounds cute. Goodluck on getting him back:lol:

This is funny. Did anyone notice the ads above Granny's blog? On my screen they say:

The advertisers pick up on key words within our blogs, etc. Hmmm...maybe I should go write something about hunky guys. hehehe
