Making a list and checking it twice

It's been an interesting few days here. I've been working to clear out some projects. The good news is that I'm about half way finished with my aunt's placemats. I really need to complete them because I'm trying to have them out by Thanksgiving. The bad news is that I can't stand the baby blanket I'm making. I have a request for a black one, and I just can't get up any enthusiasm about making the thing. I'm also hoping to try and finish at least the top of Victoria's quilt in the next few weeks. I know, I know... I've been saying that I'll get it finished for months no, and it hasn't happened yet. I'm determined to follow through this time. Otherwise, I'll not have much time to work on it when I get home.
In light of all I need to do with my house, I think I may try and put my story away for a while. I want to work on writing, but I've been doing that to the exclusion of almost everything else. My preference is to write, but I really have to get things ready for my upcoming move:sick: It's dawning on me that I'm down to only four weeks, and that isn't very long at all. So, the craziness will commence again, and I'm going to be working hard at getting everything ready. Please ignore the periodic rants that are sure to come along with the process. I've been trying to clear stuff out of my schedule lately so I can have relaxation time, and now I'm going to start trying to do it all again. Now all I need to do is get organized by starting with a list. I'm telling you, the key to doing more in a day that what any normal person should is a series of detailed lists. I have them all over my house, and I also use post it notes. I use enough that I buy in bulk when I'm getting them:lol:
That's about all here for the moment. If you have a suggestions of things I may need to do before moving, please tell me what they are. I'm trying to get everything organized so I don't have boxes of junk when everything is shipped to me for unpacking in our new home in a few months. Well, it will be shipped after I've found and purchased the home. Regardless, I don't want to be sorting out trash as I'm trying to unpack everything. So... ideas of things to not forget to look through would be much appreciated. I can't help but feel like I'm going to forget to do something really REALLY important.
Take Care,
Meg
