Identity, by M. Kundera

Well, I just finished this book last night, it was my first by M. Kundera. I cannot say enough praise for it, I think it's very profound. It thoroughly struck me. But then, it's my first book to read by him. 51 short chapters, 168 pages. I read it all in one day...I think that was yesterday. I liked it all the way through, but the ending was so incredible, beyond what I could have imagined...it was different from a lot of books where you wish they could go on forever; this one you are glad for the ending, you anticipate it, and you're not disappointed. You want to finish it, just so you can have it all in your memory.

I've never read any of his stuff, is it sci-fi? It does sound good when you describe it

Nope, not sci-fi, just fiction. Identity is a love story, I guess. I can't tell you why the ending is so good, but I recommend you read it, since it's only a 4-5 hour read. It was peaceful for some reason...
