I've just created a bodhi-leaf
(I hope its uniqueness will ensure its survival);
It's more rare than magic;
If you search for it, you'll never find it,
But become trapped and entangled.
It's true that many are pleasantly trapped,
But most are in a private hell.

I cannot determine where it could be.
Surely resting under some tree.
I have no answer, nor any reason.
I only know it inside my heart.

Now, can you show empathy?
Or will you take this away from me?
I know you're a kind one,
And you will go lightly, and not walk on my heart.
