Rest In Peace Mary Ann

Rate this Entry
It came sooner then I thought. As it comes to one and all God's time is wriiten before we are born and our days are in His hands and we live by His grace and mercy.

Mary Ann had a very good day per her step-son and sometime in the night or early morning hours passed into eternity. I 'think' she was 64 and was looking towards escaping AAA and enjoying retirement. SHe had told me she planned on being gone by July. AAA kept her on the books for health insurance and sick time, etc. etc. and for that I think we are pretty cool as an organization.

This was one of the few times I had a farewell of value (as I DID NOT have with my father to my ever lasting pain, horror and shame sometimes when I'm honest with myself about THAT relationship or lack of one.)

As always God is still good. I hope to see her in glory--but not too soon.

Keeping her on the books was kind of AAA. Glad to hear that her last day was nice by account, and I'm thankful that you were able to say goodbye. You're in my thoughts Rich. ~Meg~

Thank you one and all---was a bit down on the shift but AAA Call Center is always good for soap opera and for once I felt useful (to at least two people) tonight.) (But some things are NOT for the blog.)

May she rest in peace for eternity. May her body return to the earth and be one with mother nature and may her energy released with death bring forth new life in the world.

Rich, I'm sorry for your loss. Remember that the beauty of life, is that it carries on. While you will miss a dear friend, others will slowly fill the gap, but not to the same degree. Faith, Love, and understanding...

ps,.. I still seem to be $20 short. hmm, bless you buddy. I hope you see the sunrise soon, it holds all the potential.

Why B-Mental that female postal worker gave me a signed receipt for certified mail for the $20. No No you mean ANOTHER female is richer at OUR expense now??? The horror the horror.

On a more serious note Mary Ann had little pain and took medicine only as needed. I knew her for about 8-9 years and we only quaralled once. WHile all my frineds were kind during the life changing mid-life crisis she was the only one who (righteously) read me the riot act I so richly deserved (though I was on the mend by then but there was a slight (again deserved) chill for a bit until her brother passed on and she saw I put her grief ahead of any ill will.

    Thanks again to all commentators.
