A Present For Granny

Rate this Entry
Today has been kinda odd for me. I have been awake since 6:00 am and I have to work from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am in the morning. I've just been taking it easy, playing with Mason and Max and now the other grandkids. We've watched cartoon, played with the train sets and Hot Wheel cars, had lunch and a nap, called Poppy, and played some more. I've also managed to get a couple of loads of laundry washed, dried, and put away. I am amazed at myself! Just kidding, I'm amazed at how good the boys are. They need very little attention from me. I have to interject myself into their play to get the attention I want. But the reason for this blog entry is to tell about the wonderful present Max, 2 years old, made and presented to me this afternoon. Max came to me with a piece of notebook paper wrapped around a present. He was all smiles so I kissed him and said thank you. Max replied, “Your welcome.” and took off to play some more. I figured it was a Hot Wheel or some other little toy he had wrapped up for me. So I gingerly unwrapped the neatly, for a 2 year old, wrapped paper and found………………….

A nice fresh, firm (thank goodness), warm, doo-doo, or whatever it’s called now days!! How had he wrapped it so neatly? And why?
Max is in the process of potty training and has done very well. I had asked him several times if he needed to go on the pot and he said would say no or yes depending on what he needed. Always he went we-we or whatever it's called these days. Well, I was worried but everything had gone so smooth it kind of left my mind. That is until I got the present.
I’ve been trying to figure if it means something or if it was the only thing he had to give me. Now I don’t know if he was giving me a present or cleaning up after himself. I want to think it was a present but I don’t want to know what it means! I’m really suspicious that his Dad has taught him to do this.

 That is hysterical! Maybe he was really proud of himself, and he just wanted to show you how well he was going to the bathroom:D

No way. I've never heard of any kid doing that. Well, now you can't say you didn't get a birthday present. Let's hope he doesn't convince all your grandkids to all go in together on Christmas presents.
