title

This was the first poem I posted on LitNet. It was very hard to let anyone read anything I had written. It's about my Mother when she was sick. I miss her so much some days and wrote it pretty fast during one of those times. Just couldn't think of a title for it. We finally decided on:

In My Hands

You look to me with trust,
your happiness in my care,
your care in my hands,
my hands full of your life.
You became a child
filling my life with
no expectations,
but with unconditional love,
again.
Time to share-
Not hope, just time.
Your gift to me so precious,
the time you have
given freely, unselfishly-
Making it bearable to remain
with memories so precious.
