Arriving at the Point of Departure

Finally I have arrived in the realm of the Blogs! or should it be "Blorgs" or perhaps Borgs? Or even the realm of the Bored perhaps? :-)
It does seems that it is more like the infamous Borg Collective with around 10 million "Drones" logging on to the "Hive" and downloading their "Mind Data" for no reason at all and for no purpose at all...The Human Technology that so conveniently eliminated all the distances between all the points on this amazing Globe of ours - and has potentially - connected everyone to everyone else – a marvelous feat no doubt! - has created another Infinite Realm in Cyber Space, to make us feel very small and insignificant again, to make us feel on our own again!
It is said that the Telephone killed the Art of Conversation between people. The Internet it seems has killed the art of Conversation all together. And even with everyone connected to everyone else, we are reduced, so ironically, to talking to ourselves in the silences of our minds. In desperation it seems we write down our thoughts in millions of blogs and WebPages, like little "S.O.S" messages in bottles, and throw them into the Cyber Sea, in vain hope that others may come across it and answer our call. But as in space - no one can hear you scream - so is in cyberspace no one can hear you scream or no one wants to hear your screams because everyone is busy listening to their own desperate screams of loneliness.
It also seems so tragic that with everyone connected to everyone else we are at heart remain still lonely that’s why these blogs, that’s why we have ended up having a conversations with ourselves because we desperately crave some amusement and we desperately need some amusement! As human beings we can't seem to endure emptiness for very long. We always find new ways to fill that emptiness - even to talking to ourselves :-) or perhaps sadly we are all seeking our 15 seconds of fame in Cyber Space!
But just imagine how God felt in his infinite loneliness! Therefore Creation was inevitable. Thus Creation is God talking to Himself, perhaps - but is God seeking fame too? Eternal Fame? :-)
But now that I am here (and also talking to myself!), how shall I begin?
Shall I begin like Homer's Iliad by invoking the Muse to sing of "Rage, Rage and Rage"? But I am no Achilles and I have no more rage in me. Rage is for adolescent weenies and bored housewives desperate to get laid! :-)
Or in a Shakespearean vein perhaps?
To Blog or not to Blog?
That is a very important Blogging Question!
Will it be nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous Comments?
Or in the mode of the great Oscar Wilde?
"It is better to talk rubbish than listen to rubbish!"
In this case "it is better to write rubbish than to read rubbish!"
And No! I am not Gay! I am quite obscenely hetero-sexual :-)
Or perhaps in the vein of the Scientist, Mathematician and Poet-Philosopher Omar Khayyam I shall write my own Rubaiyats?
The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ,
Moves on: nor all your Piety nor Wit
Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line,
Nor all your Tears wash out a Word of it.
Or may be in the mode of all three!!!
Or I could be just be myself which is much, much easier :-)
So all you Chaps and Chapesses out there if you find my “Message-In-a-Cyber-Bottle” washed up on your “Cyber-Shores”…come and join me in for some witty banter about Life, Beauty, Love, The Universe and Everything…and we shall together seek a more amusing answer that is more than 42! :-)
