A poem, by me. Obscure perhaps, and nonsense. But a poem nonetheless.

Poetry is NEVER nonsense, and NEVER apologize for your prose. A poem is a beautiful gift for humanity, and I liked your poem Nik. Keep 'em coming!

Okay, I wrote some last night but most of it wasn't what I wanted. I had a song stuck in my head (!)- The Habanero Reel and In the Grip of Stronger Stuff, both by Tull were playing and they were interchanging, but I couldn't get rid of them. Both the flute riffs and the lyrics of Habanero were in my head, so I ended up writing a lot of rhyming poetry that had the same structure as Habanero (not sure how to pen it out, but "Cool in the corner, tomcat sitting" and then later "Rum and cola, ice cubes clashing; jumping beans, and brown eyes flashing; long hair swinging, tell me how do you feel? Well, hot and flashy, it's the habanero reel" etc...) which produced a few poems. Which were meaningful to me but I didn't think worth sharing. Then I started it to come up with many many short stories ideas...write a few sentences and then stop. A lot of the time I was just staring around, you know, relaxing and letting my mind wander. I didn't read very much last night, though I have been the last couple of days, this book on Buddhism I now have, Entering the Stream... um, this is getting kind of long so I'm going to cut it off randomly now. Thanks for commenting, Kiz.
