Jabber Mouth

Thursday is our day for all five grandkids. I am especially proud of the youngest boy of motherhubbard. He is 2 ½ and had surgery to remove his tonsils and adenoids and to put tubes in his ears. That was two months ago. Before then he hardly spoke at all because he couldn’t hear. I just didn’t realize it! I thought he just didn’t care to talk to me. Well, now you can hardly shut him up. What I love the most is when he is telling my bye as he is walking out to the van. Here is our usual conversation:
Me: “Bye Max, I love you.”
Max: “Bye Granny, I love you”
Me: “Bye Max”
Max: “Bye Granny”
Me: “Bye Max”
Max: “Bicycle”
Me: “Bye Max”
Max: “Bye Pass”
Me: “Bye Max”
Max: ”Bye polar”
Me: “Bye Max”
Max: “Bye lingual”
Me: “Bye Max”
Max: “Bye partisan”
It goes on until he gets into his car seat. I am amazed at the difference in just a couple of months. Sometimes I think it would be nice to have a quite visit, but then I think, no…we had over 2 years of that kind. He comes by his love to talk naturally. Motherhubbard is a real jabbermouth!
