Pains in the neck

Yes, I know I haven’t said anything over the passed three days but I didn’t really have much to say. Now I do.

My back aches, my eye hurts, my shoulders have a cold burning feeling, my feet hurt and I’ve got a headache.
The source of all of these problems?
School. Or more specifically my principal deciding to have an assembly today as well as yesterday. I missed yesterday’s, of course, but I had no option but to attend today’s.
Better start from the beginning.
Woke up late. Had mum really screaming at me to hurry up when I was no later than usual. Poor thing hasn’t been sleeping well you see, hot flushes. Sick of all the yelling today I threatened to slip her sleeping medicine, at night (if I could get some). I refuse to be yelled at because my mother is getting old.
You may be disgusted by this but I only really have respect for my mother when I want to. I put it down to her lack of discipline when I was younger. Dad was the disciplined one but he moved out when I was young so I now have hardly any respect for him at all.
It’s the truth. I’m in no mood to lie about it at the moment.

So, got to school and learned of this assembly I had to attend. It was about punctuality, I was told. So I went to it. Thankfully I didn’t have to sit on stage and could scuttle to the back. I had to stand there for 20 minutes listening to her droning on about standards, punctuality. It’s extremely ironic. Had that stupid assembly not gone on for so long I’d have only missed 10 minutes of my lesson instead to 35.
Today is turning out to be a lovely day (As Ms Banks would say, that is “dripping with sarcasm” Well, actually irony, but I substituted it for sarcasm ).
Oh. Also the computers are slow and the caps lock in Word is back to front
Well, at least I have some nice news too. I finished the first Chronicles of Narnia book yesterday and started on the second straight away. It’s fun reading.

Well, I’ll be off now. Plenty of work to be doing and times for parents evening to get.
Bluebiird out.

Not disgusted by your honesty at all. My little guttersnipes rarely respected me until they got a job and had to listen to someone whine at them who didn't care about their delicate feelings or self esteem. Good time Good Times--I still think I deserved an ulcer for all that. Glad you're back on blog.

Mum's still working on her ulcer . I don't think she has one yet though.

That's because we parents are tougher then we are credited for being. Children hone the survival instincts.

Ah, that would explain it then
