A nice day

Rate this Entry
Today was a nice, and halfway productive day. I didn't get any cleaning finished. My dishes are still screaming for me to get to them. I've laundry that needs to be put away, more that needs to be folded, and even more that I need to run. I've neglected cleaning all week, and I've only seen to the bare minimum. I work this weekend, so I'll tend to everything when I get home... maybe:lol:

Anyway, my son spent some time at the sitter today, and I used the time to grocery shop. I worked on the baby blanket for my cousin. I'm hoping to have it finished before the baby is born, but if not... it will be a few weeks late, I guess. The kids had a nice nap, and I saw the hubby off to work. He's still on nights, so there is plenty of time in the evenings to do stuff. When the kids woke up, we went outside for an hour or so and had dinner. We headed to the gym for an hour or so, and I ran a movie back. They made it to bed on time, and I sat down with the best intentions of working on the baby blanket some more. That didn't happen.

I sat with the plan of popping in a movie and crocheting the night away, but somehow I ended up here. I spent an hour or so on the computer writing. There is another chapter for Kings, Queens, and Pawns up, if you are interested. It's in the blog so it should be easy to find. I don't htink it is the most interesting of chapters, but I am working to set up the rest of the story. I've caved. It isn't going to be some trashy romance or anything, but it is going to be a love story. No matter how I have thought it out over the last week or so, all plots are tied around Allarick and Arabella falling in love, or trying not to. Not quite sure how it is going to turn out in the end, and even if I was I wouldn't want to ruin it. So, yeah... it isn't my favorite chapter, but you learn a bit more about Allarick and you also get a bit about how they will react with one another. I may eliminate the chapter later, but at the moment I'm afraid that things will be too circumspect or just come out of thin air if it isn't there. We'll see when it is finished if I really think that it is a necessary part of the story. Let me know what you think in the Chapter 7 blog entry.

Well, I think I'm off for the night. I really do need to work on that blanket, and I've work in the morning. I need to be sure that I have everything that I need put together tonight so I'm not running around later. I hope all is going well for everyone else.

Take Care,
Meg

Ignoring puting a laundry away is a way of life for us and I spend much time procrastinating on the dishes. Sometime soon I plan on getting back to your writing but there are about two or three other things holding me up and I want to one - be awkae when I'm reading - and two - not get bumped by the long suffering one.
