To Narnia

Well, I haven't got there yet, but I've started reading the school library's copy of the magician's apprentice (Actually it has all of the first three stories in it but I figured I'd start with the first). When the film came out Tom complained that The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe wasn't even the first book, it was the second and the second Narnia film being made (Or already made, I'm not sure) isn't the one after either, it's the fourth. When we saw the film he continually picked holes in it (not that I minded because I'd already seen it with mum) so I asked him to explain the first one to me. He did and I got the basic gist of it, but now I want to read it for myself. I got bored of my other stick figure comic strip (making a mockery of Tom's Character A) so I started another one in which the group try to earn money to pay of the debts they've accumulated (based on a little comic that Jason was doing and asked me the best ways to earn money with the least effort. I suggested mugging at gunpoint but not actually having a gun, just a banana in a coat pocket. He improvised it to be a banana painted black which I thought was quite good). It's gotten colder over here now and "experts" reckon it'll snow on Wednesday.
I missed assembly and encountered Ms Oldbat. I dream of punching her in the face. But I'd never do it for real. I'm too polite. I got the gist of assembly for Dan (a year 15). Apparently (according to Jason during the fire bell) they said in assembly that January 22nd is supposed to be the most depressing day of the year. Personally I was too...not cheerful, just kind of un-depressed to be depressed, if you get what I mean.
Today I failed to eat all of the lunch I'd packed. But there is a good reason this time.
Mum went to the shopping centre yesterday (after getting the laundry done) to draw some money out. There was a sale in Pearsons so she bought us both a new pillow and me a new duvet. The only trouble was because she took longer than expected she didn't have time to go to the big Tesco’s near Homebase so she went to the Tesco Express round the corner instead. She brought a kind of sub sandwich (bacon, lettuce and chicken). I had to cut it in half to get it in my lunch bag. I had one half at break and one half at lunch and I felt content for the rest of the day.
Tonight I felt the need to indulge in a sticky toffee pudding (Because the use by date is the end of this month and we've got a chocolate one to eat too (bearing in mind they're the size of the average Christmas pudding because that's when we got them)). There's a bit of a story about a sticky toffee pudding last year (not a thrilling one though) but I'm too tired to tell it now and it's not really relevant to anything anyway.

Like I said, I'm tired so I'm off to bed.
Bluebiird out.

Oh, the Narnia stories are so wonderful, I hope you enjoy them!

I did read about Jan. 22 being the most depressing day this year, but I don't believe it because yesterday was so invigorating for me Don't feel bad about not being depressed, be happy that you weren't
