I DID IT! Well, sort of. I got a C in english but I got a D in ICT and Business which gives me a total of 160 tarif points. It would've been 180 but business was an AS subject, not an A2 therefore not worth quite so much. I'd forgotten about that in my calculations. I needed 220 to get into my lower choice uni. But I have one of the requirements, a C in english, because I signed up for creative writing and english literature at least a C at A level english was required and I have that. I just have 60-80 points less than I needed. So I've been advised to call the uni's and make sure I'm deffinately not in because I have one of the requirements there's a slight chance I could still get in. I'm still happy though because I was precicted D's and E's and instead I got C's And D's .

I DIIIID IIIIIT!!!!!!!! I’ve phoned them up. I’ve been confirmed. I’m accepted. I GOT ACCEPTED!! I’M GOING TO UNIVERSITY!!!!
Okay. Okay. Calm down. Temple of Zen. That’s something I started saying yesterday when I found out I’d be getting my results. I imagine a lovely empty room with a sand garden and bonsai trees and that sort of stuff. It’s quite calming. I CAN’T BELIEVE I’M IN!!! I’m overjoyed and feeling a little sick a little bit. Mum’s overjoyed. Dad’s pleased (I’ve just called him, his not as emotional as me and mum.) The only other member of my family that I know for certain has been to university is one of my cousins.
I still can’t believe it. I pinched myself, it hurt a lot. This isn’t one of my weird morning dreams. It’s real. IT’S REAL!! But it’s kind of scary too. I mean, there’s so much to get done. I was so sure I wouldn’t get in. I can’t believe it.
I’M GOING TO UNIVERSITY!!!!
Now we’re calling family. This is so exciting.
