Who knows where that song is from? I want to keep this post in some sort of order so bit of background first before I get to the point. Latley me and my mum havent been getting on so well mostly because we are too alike and stubborn and like to do things our way.

Well with the invasion of the muppets set to thinking last night so I youtubed the manha manha song and then saw a link to ernie and cookie monsters Breakfast song only it was in german dutch anyway. So I cranked up the volume and wonder into the kitchen and start sorting out the dishes now I dont need the words so I was singing along and my mum wonders in and she rushes over to my puter and startslooking for it in english. we couldnt find it but we enede up spending 2 hours watching sesame street skits and songs and laughing till we cried. Things like this were said by mum andI
" The guy was a freaking genius" and " It such a pity they stopped it"and " the poor deprived children who dont have sesame street in their lives" " I bet you can get them on DVD" " You cant Ive looked" " we could connect the satalite as it still repeats on saudi 2 " " what was his name..." " Oh do you rember" oh that was a great one" "you used to love this one"

And us both singing some of our favourite songs.... I guess you could say that alot of my childhood was spent watching sesame street. And my mum was always forced to watch with me as I wouldnt watch alone. I guess Sesame street means alot to me its like a symbol of a time when my mum and I didnt bicker so much. So here is Thank You to the amazing Jim Henson. And Childrens Television Workshop pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease release the older sesame street skits on dvd...like my mum said its "the older people who would buy it", but were are the ones ith the money and I know if I ever have kids Id want to watch it....

Some of the best of SS in my opion :
Ernie &bert and the Fishy Fishy Fishy skit
Ernie& Dance my self to sleep
Ernine and cookie and the letter Dee
Ernie and bert and the letter L
Rubber duckie
Sing your synonms song
I dont want to live on the moon song
If the moon was Cookie song
The breakfast song
Bert Doing the pigeon
Forgetful Jones singing ( or rather not) Give me a home
The amazing Mumford
Oscar and slimey
The Count

And these are just a few..........
