New years resolutions

I know this may seem a bit early or way to late but I've always considered the whole idea a bit arbitrary . I mean why is January the first new years anyway just because some random bloke went oh yes that sounds like a good beginning start here.. Anyway since I started school at the age of 2 my years have always revolved around September. And hey the 3rd of September is the beginning of my year, the start of birthday season in my house. So I declare tomorrow Nights new years day and such here is a list of my resolutions.
1) I will attempt to get ahead of my uni work and actually apply myself properly and make full use of opportunities and quit coasting. ( and who knows I might get the extra few present that will push me up to a first !)
2) I will try to be more helpful and supportive and less argumentative with the mother and stop letting the seven year old bait me into circular arguments.
3) This Ramadan I am going to get at least half way through the Quaran
4) This year I will finish reading meditations and The story of God.
5) I'm going to loose all the weight I gained over the last year and be healthy healthy healthy.
6) I'm going to cut back on 'junk' reads and stick to the more serious stuff ( like uni books)
7) I'm going to get those tinted reading glasses and actually use them.
8) I will get my CILIP stuff sorted
9) I will pass my driving test
10) I am definitely going to do at least half the stuff on this list.
Well happy new year folks!
