WritingCenter Days 2

So apparently yesterday was only the beginning of the Invasion of the Procrastinators into the Writing Center. I've only been here an hour and 45 minutes and I only have a faint memory of the whirlwind of action that just passed through our small center. The sign-in sheet is nearly full, which hardly ever happens, and all the tutors are practically panting as we stare at eachother in awe.
This is written in a spare moment that I gained because a student who had signed up for me at 12:30 actually came in at 12. The student didn't tell me that they were my 12:30, and since my 12 was now late I took them...my 12 then showed up, but luckily another tutor was available. At 12:30 I was wrapping up the appointment and the student says "Oh, I'm your 12:30, so I can stay and get more help."
Uhhhh....no?
We've had this problem before, so I pointed to the sign that we posted which very clearly states: "LIMIT: 30 MINUTES PER DAY, PER TUTOR," He sighs, complains, curses, and walks away.
(Now he's back, trying to talk us into taking him later today. Ugh)
Anyways, after helping another student with his practice EPE (see last entry), I can finally dig into my Subway turkey sandwich that on of the tutor's friends so lovingly went and picked up for me
Busy again. This blog is going to be silly if I keep trying to write at work. Oh well...
