most of us are about, but yes there seems to be many absent friends......

I've family in town, so I wont be around much this week. Well, I might not be around much next week either since I have midterms. I've been wondering where everyone is too...:)

Andave - I've been completely antisocial, both in person and online. I just haven't had the energy to do anything, even think. I'm trying to come out of it. Anywho, I imagine everyone else is busy or struggling with their own issues...

Well it's summer and people go away for a spell.

The computer crashed a week ago--the long suffering spouse is really suffering now--should be fixed in a day or two. It is good to be missed however. For now I'm at work sneaking a comment here and a comment there during work. In fact while I type this 3 tows have come in--gotta go. And yes I miss the crowd too. Gone but not forgotten.

Yes it's pretty quiet here these days...wait till the middle of September (people back to school) or even November when (for most of us) winter has set in and we become mouse potatoes again

Mary Sue, I'm alive and well...I hereby promise not to die until I'm dead. My wife was on the verge of divorcing me over an "adulterous affair" with my beautiful Dell Dimension computer . I was absolutely glued to this thing with my work, blogs and other insanity...I'm not sure when I'll post again. Hence, we spent the past week in Rome (refreshing my awkwardly fluent Italian on an unsuspecting nation ) and another week actually socializing with flesh and blood friends...not Usernames and/or Avatars. I even regained contact with a classmate I haven't seen in 40 years!!! She was once young and beautiful...and still is in my eyes. (In reply to your pm: My favorite musical stars are Gordon MacRae and Shirley Jones. "Carousel" is my favorite musical...it's one of the musicals that I grew up on and the two of them starring in it have a special place in my heart. This, however, doesn't lessen my love for Astaire, Kelly, Sinatra, and all the rest in any way.) Thanks very much, Mary Sue, for whatever concern you've felt regarding me. Michael

What's on September 19, Neo?.............GFD, I'm glad you're ok. Carousel is one of the musicals I actually have not yet seen, though it's on my list. Astaire however is my all-time favorite............yeah, midterms and school and winter are on the prowl, aren't they. ...........crashed computers

I was wondering the same thing as you, and glad to see that you got so many responses! (I also thought that Michael fell off the earth -- glad to see you here!). I guess it is a funny time for many -- summer drawing to a close makes lots of folks really busy, and then there is the on-coming of School for many ... just not enough time, methinks. Glad to see you all, though.
