Good Weather Flying.

I am waiting to fly out in a couple of days, and forgot to mention something in my 20 and 10 entry. There are limited flights going back and forth from the Prudhoe Bay area of Alaska to Anchorage. You know what day you are going to fly on, and then try to get on the flight with an opening. Ususually all the flights are booked up, and some seats are blocked out. This means that I usually end up on the standby list, if seats open up then I get on that flight. Should I not get on the flight then I go to the end of the list for the next flight...If I miss that, I go to the end of the list for the following flight..or I pick a flight and hope that I will able to get on it. Ok, a little confusing I know, and what you are thinking is, "Well what about when they cancel a flight due to weather?" Wow, thanks for asking. Then everyone on that flight goes on the list for standby and are taken in the order that there flight was confirmed. The list can have over 200 names when that happens.
Needless to say I am praying for some good weather for my trip back on Monday.
Two more days to go. *crosses fingers*
