We're feeling a bit better

We are all starting to feel a bit better around here. The weather made a quick change from sunny and warm to rainy and cooler, so the cold has stuck around a little longer on all of us. Other than that, things here are going pretty well. They're just moving along like every other day. Monotonly is the story of my life, for the most part. Things may get busy, but they are normally the same type of things that happened the day before.
I've not had much time to get anything accomplished in the last week or two. I started back to college, so I'm plugging away on my Biology class. I'm surprised at the changes in what is being taught from the last time I took a Biology class. Times have really changed in the science community, and there is so much more information than there was. I'm enjoying the class, but I am ready to be finished. Six weeks and some change until I have a degree. It is nice to be at the end of it, finally.
I'm trying to get the cleaning done in my house. I've been organizing and moving things, so the entire house seems to be a mess. Victoria has started pulling up and walking some while holding things like the couch and entertainment center. I didn't notice that so much stuff was within her reach. She is a taller baby than Garrick was at almost a year, and it means that my stash spots for items are much more limited. I've been trying to get the bookcase/entertainment center clean enough that she will lose interest. I've quite a few hardcover books that now are sporting baby teeth marks where she has been getting them to chew while she is cutting teeth. She has six coming in at once, so she has been putting anything in her mouth and books are a favorite. Anyway, with the exception of baby proofing, again, my parents are coming into town at the end of the week. I owuld like for the house to not look like a small natural disaster has occured inside.
So, like I said, my parents are coming into town. As much as I love to see them, I'm not really looking foward to it. I really can't stand to have my house full of people. When my parents are here they also bring my niece who is my son's age. She is only six weeks older, and it makes the house a little crazy. Oh well, I'm off to get my cleaning finished.
Take Care,
Meg
