End of Polar Summer

I am sitting here with the midnight sun low on the horizon. The fog is back every night, and the chill is back in the air. Recently the caribou have taken to the fields, and come right up to edge of the drilling location. Cows grazing with calves running and playing as the evening sun shines in the dew soaked sedges making them glisten a golden hue that shimmers in the gentle breeze.
The Arctic Fox around here long ago lost their white winters coat, and now the brown backed, white bellied canines with poofy white tails lurk everywhere, still looking for scraps.
I am hoping there is no fog tomorrow morning...I fly out from Kuparuk. This may be the last time I write from north of the Arctic, job turmoil. I will be out on the hunt again for work, but in my field jobs abound. I am presently talking to companies in Louisiana and Texas. The Louisana job is not far from where my brother, sister-in-law, and niece live. That is a major bonus for that job. I'll know more soon.
Goodbye to the land of the midnight sun.
