Exiled in a kilt

A new purpose

Ok, I have thought of a purpose for my blog now: It will be to bore any prospective readers with the thoughts of a suffering Rangers fan. After every game the team play I will be reacting to it here.

Seeing as their first competitive game was last night, the boredom for the rest of you starts here (however there will likely be lots of tears, pain & recriminations - so that should amuse those of you with a sadistic bent)

Last night we (yes, I count myself as part of the team) played against a team called FK Zeta from Montenegro in the home leg of the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League. They are kids & part-timers, we should have thumped them about 4 or 5 nil. However, things are never quite that simple with Rangers.
Despite Kris Boyd (lazy, overweight, but prolific striker) smacking the ball off the post just 10seconds into the game, the team laboured to a 2-0 win (both goals courtesy of dodgy goalkeeping on the part of the Zeta goalie) and finished the game with only 10 men because of stupidity of Alan Hutton (young, oft injured, right back) getting 2 yellow cards in the space of a minute (the second one for encroachment ) Now we have to go to Montenegro and hold our nerve, I fear however that something stupid will happen and we will end up going out - I will have to look out my lucky socks for the occasion (yes, a pic of these will be posted on here at some stage)

Next up is the start of the SPL season on Saturday and the rollercoaster of emotions from now till the end of May......
