I'm a Diced Tomato

As to why I ditched my "classic" personality.

I really, really, really, REALLY love history, and classic things, but it got to be way too much for me. I would get so timesick, it hurt so much. I needed to stop. Classical music did not help hardly ever. It just made it worse with it's beauty. I still love all those things, but I needed/need a break from it. They all made me way too sad. Unecessarily sad.

So I'm trying to be more "normal". More "modern". I had to find something else. So I reverted back to my old sci-fi ways and even found some new interests. I even appreciate this time period more. In fact, I can't imagine living in any other era. (Well, except maybe the '80s. But I won't get timesick over that because it was only 20 years ago.)

That's why I don't call you all by your prefixes anymore. It was fun, though.

So I'm sorry if changing/acting like that made me look like a snob or someone who just wanted attention. Reading over my old posts is making me sick...

Is it okay if i still call you miss Lily? FAntasy is a good genre. Try the Bitterbynde saga by Cecilia Dart Thornton. I'm rereading it at the moment.

Don't be hard on yourself -- we change many times in our travels on Earth... if we didn't, we'd be rather boring individuals. One day you will settle into something that is totally YOU and you move on from there. But don't feel annoyed/ashamed, etc., of old entries. Why, when I look at some stuff I wrote (even a couple of years ago), I shudder and ask, what was I thinking?!

Oh, thank you. I feel so open here at LitNet. But I know can trust all of you. It's comfortable here.

Miss Niamh, it is perfectly fine if you still call me Miss Lily. I'll probably still use the prefixes once in while. Thanks for the recommendation!
