The Appeal

Terse today - must do work.

Why am I so in love with the boy-man you ask? The answer: because he inspires me. I wrote Jules for him and he assisted me in writing Jules. When I was struggling with character - he approached it from an actor's point of view, asked me questions which, apparently, help actors dress themselves up in their character. I made breakthroughs because of his input. In fact, the ending is based in one of our conversations. I wondered one day if we would ever get to meet, and he said he imagined walking down the street one day in London, and a woman approaching him, saying "Hi, my name is Tanya".

At the end of Jules, Ana sees Jules while in Soho, catches up to him and taps him on the shoulder.

He always read my work, and a few public comments before he cancelled his account let me know he had read "Hanging by a Thread", though he never wrote back.

I miss and love him for that, and for so many other good reasons. He certainly has some bad traits, but his wonderful ones make him a remarkable man.
