Currently cleaning up some things in my room and trying to figure out what to bring with me, and what to leave to my younger sister, with whom I share a room. Mom has some movers coming over tomorrow to do an estimate on the house to see how much it will cost them to move (the family) to Texas. Dad has the garage in boxes; the family moves in September.

Nick and I took the security deposit over to the new apartment. It really is a cute little place. I am hoping to get super involved with school. I'll be working on campus too if God permits...and maybe I will have time for a few clubs.

I don't quite understand the university's get up on clubs...some of them are "organizations" and others are "societies." So I guess I will just have to continue emailing them to find out what they are all about. My campus has like five Christian clubs, so I have to sort through those for the right one...whatever that means. Truthfully, I'm a "Pentacostal" Christian, and I have a friend who is a "Nazarene" Christian...I don't see much of a difference.

Earlier tonight something interesting happened. My brother opened the garage door (garage is filled with boxes remember) and went through the garage to get to his car near the mail box to get his cigarettes (sp?). He was sitting in his car in the dark when he saw someone walking around the corner and up infront our our house. My brother never saw the guy go up the street. Frankie (brother) looks up between my parents' cars in the driveway and sees something moving through the glass. The guy was standing in the middle of my garage looking around!!!!! My brother steps out of his car and says "Hey dude, whats up??" and the guy takes off running up the street...and my brother chases him up the block.

Supposedly, he was only a kid...what is the world coming to? Nothing to steal in my garage but hey, I don't want them there anyhow.

My neighborhood is really going to crap. Actually the whole city is worse off than when I was younger. I am happy that my family and myself will be moving. This neighborhood is awful...believe it or not, it wasn't the first time something like that happened at my house. Nothing serious yet thank God.

Well it is the end of a busy week. I hope everyone else is as grateful as I am for the coming weekend.

Did anyone see Harry Potter? It was awesome.

Blessings.

I've been reading that Harry Potter was awesome a lot. Makes me want to cry since it will be months before I can go to see it in the theater. We don't have a babysitter for my daughter, so there isn't any way to go out:bawling: Glad to hear everything seems to be going well with the upcoming moves

Well I'm glad you are safe. Rule of thumb on what to take for me is (in the area of books) will I miss this in 5 years or not? Remmeber Nick will have stuff too--closet space in home in Ohio I throughly believe were designed for magpies and squirrels--they obviously don't expect Ohioans to have a lot of 'stuff'.

Have not seen any of the Harry Potter movies--sort of waiting for the seven to be done then do a marathon on my four days in a row off time. Bogged down in book 5--no plans to continue anytime soon. I had zipped thru book 4 then strated right in book 5 when the doom and gloom caught up to me and went on to more pleasant readings.

That is too bad that you have people inviting themselves into your private space like that... sorry to hear that the place where you live has gotten this bad. Good luck for your future move, and I am glad that you are all right, too.
