Harry Potter

Okay, not much happening today. I read the first Harry Potter book today. I can't wait until the last book comes out. I personally think Harry is going to die. I don't see how he could possibly live! He has to destroy all the Horcruxes [I]and[I] destroy Voldemort, which even Dumbledore, who was the most powerful wizard, couldn't do. Ah, poor Harry, he just can't have a nice quiet life. But, then there wouldn't be a story would there?

Me too! I want the book now,and I have preordered it so I can go get it tommorrow at 12:01 am. But here's the thing - I do not want to wait in line with a crowd. I've always been one of those people who catches on to a fad when it's already over with.

I ordered the book from Borders and they're have an evening of enchantment or something and I am thinking I am way too old for that. Plus, I am not a kid and I do not have kids. If I go and wait in line to buy the book, I feel like I should take someone's else kid along so I won't be that weird adult standing around at a kiddie event looking creepy.

Maybe I can take my neice.. hmmm... maybe I should have kids... OR not.

Anyway, I have been reading some online articles and essays about whether Snape is good or bad and the theory about how Harry might be the Horcrux. I am not interested in the spoilers because I just want to read the book and enjoy it. But I know I will be tempted to flip to the end to read the last chapter.

I've never heard the theory that Harry might be a Horcrux. Weird. Yeah, anyways, I don't want to wait in line either, so I'm just going to get it at Costco. They always have like 400 copies out at any one time, so I'm not worried about getting a copy.

I'm thinking the same thing. I've been of the belief for a few books that the ending was going to be very bittersweet. Some will live happily ever after, but at what price? If he lives, I think he is going to lose either Hermione or Ron. So many people close to him have died and I expect that this book will have a continuation of this pattern. I should be getting my copy from the library tomorrow and I can't wait to read it. I've shuffled school so I can have the time to read it this weekend so I'm not distracted when I write my final for Business.

Ah, I'm reading it right now. Bittersweet is definetly the correct word. I'm within ten chapters of the end and things are really happening now.
